Sindh Government Approaches PTA To Block SIM Cards Of Unvaccinated Individuals

Do you know, recently Sindh government asks PTA to block SIMs of unvaccinated individuals? Previously, the Punjab government took steps to block SIM cards of unvaccinated individuals. The Sindh government also followed the steps of the Punjab government to demand NCOC to block SIMs.

Murtaza Wahab, Spokesman for the Sindh government, shared this news through his Twitter handle. You can see it below:

As you can see, he clearly says that the Sindh government decides to ask NCOC and PTA to block SIMs of unvaccinated citizens. Further, Murtaza Wahab said that Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah proposed this idea in a high-level meeting. Also, Murad Ali Shah said that all relevant authorities should approach PTA through the Federal government. And, PTA must send warning messages to users one week before blocking their SIM cards. Then, if a person doesn’t get vaccinated within a week, his SIM card would be blocked.

Sindh’s government also gave a decision that government employees wouldn’t get promotions and a lesser salary. It is in the case if a government employee is not vaccinated. This decision took under the initiative “no vaccination, no salary”. They are also working on other ways to encourage people to get a vaccination against the novel coronavirus.
