A door-to-door vaccination campaign launched by the Punjab government in five major cities. The cities include Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, and Rawalpindi. Moreover, the campaign will launch on July 26 for two weeks. This decision finalized to meet the targets set by National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).

And, This decision was taken during a meeting jointly chaired by Punjab Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, and the Chief Secretary of Punjab, Jawad Rafique Malik, at the Civil Secretariat on Saturday.
The minister told the meeting that NCOC has set a target of vaccinating 40% of over 18 years of citizens over 18 years of age in Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, and Lahore, and 70% of the population of Rawalpindi by August 14.

Further, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that the number of vaccination centers increased to facilitate more people.
Afterward, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said to get a vaccination against Covid-19 and strictly following the SOPs are the only ways to eliminate Coronavirus from Pakistan.
Moreover, Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik strictly directed the police and administration to fully cooperate with the Health Departments during this special campaign. Also, he issued instructions for vaccination camps to be set up around the area of all teaching hospitals.
Primary and Secondary Healthcare Secretary Sarah Aslam briefed that they have a micro plan for this special vaccination campaign. Also, two teams will work in each union council for the purpose of door-to-door vaccination.
Further, she said 566 teams in Faisalabad, 224 in Gujranwala, 250 in Multan, 356 in Rawalpindi, and 528 teams in Lahore will form to administer the vaccine at people’s doorsteps.
