Punjab Govt Extended Holidays till 31 January in the wake of security threats

So friends today is very lucky day for Students :) . Because Punjab Govt Extended Holidays till 31 January 2015 due to security reasons. Now enjoy more winter vocation at home.

Today the Punjab government has convened a meeting to review security of the educational institutes of both sectors (private as well as Public). The Strategy regarding security of the schools will be finalized after reviewing all the options. They decided to remain schools, colleges as well as universities closed which did not fulfill their security measures.

According to sources: Govt of Punjab release a notice of 5 recommendation for security measures. These measures applied on both Public as well as private sector institutions.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif ordered strictly to cancel the license on the institution who will open without completing these 5 major security measures. you might interested to read Terrorist Attack on Army School – 123 children killed.

Educational Institutions security measures (must be fulfill in order to open institution) :

  1. There must be barrier on main gates.
  2. Side wall or outer walls of institution must be 10ft high.
  3. There must be fences on entrance.
  4. Must have sharp fences on walls.
  5. There must be security guard alerted on incoming and outgoing doors.

If any college, school or university (no meter whether it is private or public) did not fulfill the security measures as mention above then its license will be canceled.

After the news of Punjab Govt Extent holidays there is a thrill of enjoyment have been seen in the youth specially in children. Keep in mind still there is no any Notification is issued by HEC.
