According to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqat, new directives issued by the National Command and Operation Centre. However, the citizens would not permit to use railways, airlines, and bus services without showing their vaccination certificates.

He clearly said that if anyone wants to travel, they must inoculate. Otherwise, they can’t travel or use any transportation service.

“We changed our strategy this time and despite implementing a smart lock-down strategy, our focus will be to ensure maximum citizens to vaccinate. We have managed to administer the vaccine to over 80% citizens and the positive ratio has also decreased to almost 2 percent,” he said.

Surprisingly, the administration has opened indoor dining, weddings, schools, and other activities.

The deputy commissioner said that the cinema industry has a negative effect due to the pandemic. However, it will now reopen.

In the end, he stressed that the main focus right now is to vaccinate the remaining 20 percent of the population.
