Steps of how to increase Virtual Memory in windows XP

1: First thing is first Click on Start button, Then right click on My Computer, and then click Properties button.
2: After Click on Properties you will see a Properties dialog box, click on the Advanced tab in Properties Dialog box.
3: In the Performance panel, click Settings.You can also go to Performance Panel by Opening Control Panel and then click on Performance and Maintenance button.
4: In the Performance Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
5: In the Virtual memory pane, click Change button.And Change the Initial size value and the Maximum size value to a higher value, click Set, and then click OK.
6: that’s all done :) Now Click OK to close the Performance Options dialog box, and then click OK to close the System Properties dialog box.

1: First Click Start button and then Click on Control Panel.
2: In Control Panel Choose System and Maintenance and then click System button.
3: In the left pane (show on left site a dialog panel), click Advanced system settings.As show in Picture below.
