In this article, I will express my views about the future of football in Pakistan by my personal analysis. Football and Pakistan seems to be like two different things which are very apart from each other but not now. As though, the world is changing, Pakistan is too so let’s get started.
1-PAKISTAN FIFA RANKING
As we all know FIFA is an worldwide organization of Football. Every company respects FIFA which makes analysis, ranking, ratings etc. Pakistan not been good in the FIFA ranking from past till now. The current rating of Pakistan all over the world is 201. That means that Pakistan is quiet not much able to qualify even for the top 200. As well as Pakistan’s lowest ranking is 205. The highest is 96 but for this ranking it has a reason. To know and understand that reason, you must need to read this article thoroughly.
2-FIRST EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CLUB
Atletico Madrid is very honored and well known club in world. It turned towards Pakistan to coach young kids of Pakistan. For sake of producing talent. The coach which came here is impressed. He has seen great talent. As well as no security issues in Pakistan. They came to Lahore for their campaign which was last year that means in July, 2018.
3-FINANCIAL ISSUES AND LACK OF PLATFORMS
Pakistan have an population of over 200 million and it means that Pakistan has a great talent of Football as well. So, the question is where did this much talent goes? Don’t worry I will give you answer that is Pakistan has very low platforms to show up their talent that is on count ( Leisure League, Pakistan Premier League ) and kids which have qualities to perform have lack of money which means their parents can’t afford the fee structure of the clubs which are good. In this way, our youngest talent is demolished and discouraged. Pakistan have to work on this to progress their Football carrier and to back up on Football.
4-CONTINUOUS FIGHT BETWEEN TWO PFF PRESIDENTS
Elections for the the new president of PFF held in 2015. Due to some political power, Their became the clash. Pakistan Football is struggling till then. AFC has taken over this case. FIFA has also stop funding Pakistan from this issue. Someone has to take step for welfare of PFF.
5-MAIN SPORT IS CRICKET
Even though Pakistan National’s game is hockey but it is also getting out of the way and cricket is growing rapidly in Pakistan and every single person is passionate about this sport and when any of cricket tournament starts they just forgot about cricket
CONCLUSION
The basic purpose of telling you these things is that our younger generation may get a chance to participate in Football. But now it is just like impossible because no one cares about Football because of PFF clash. This reason also stop the funding of FIFA for Pakistan Football team. It is just an impossible task to pursue your passion or if you did you will be of lack of money.
