Door-To-Door Vaccination Campaign Launched In KP

Hey, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Health Ministry launched a door-to-door vaccination campaign in five high-risked districts, following Punjab. And, these cities include Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.

Moreover, District Health Authorities (DHA) teams consisting of health medical staff and lady health workers are formed. And, their purpose is to door-to-door vaccinate people aged 18 or above in all tehsils and union councils of these districts till 10 August.

However, Special instructions issued to all DHA teams that they will tolerate no negligence during the door-to-door vaccination campaign. And, The provincial Health Ministry has launched the door-to-door vaccination campaign after health experts warned that the Delta variant could rear its head in the province as it is 20% more transmissible and reduces the efficacy of antibodies by 50%.

Also, they have confirmed that these five major cities mentioned above are part of the first phase. Moreover, the remaining districts will include in the next phase of this campaign.
