History of Houthis – What they want?
Yemeni government’s stand that the Iranian government is helping Houthis and gives them weapons. In 2009 Yemeni Govt again started operation in North Sada against Houthi Rebels and Saudi Arabia stand with them fully. On January 20, 2015 the Houthis stormed the Yemen Capital Sanaa and occupied the presidential palace. The interim government President Abdul rabu mansour hadi was currently at the presidential palace when it was bombed. After this President Hadi escaped and fled to Aden and awarded it as temporary capital. On the other hand Houthi Rebels have took over many areas. When Houthis started moving toward Province Mahrab then Saudi Govt started Bombing on them Because it touch the Yemeni-Saudi border. This Province is located near the Saudi border, but also oil-rich province of Yemen, and the Yemeni economy is totally dependent on it. Keep in mind this province is still under control of Sunni Tribes and they already started struggling for war against Houthis.
