1: Light and Responsive theme :

Yes Responsiveness as well as weight of theme meter a lot in a site loading time or speed. Always try to use high responsive multi screen view themes as well as light weight theme. Never go for nulled or free premium theme. There are millions of free and high responsive themes available online go and get any good one and them make some test or checks on it.

2: Use Cache plugins in WordPress :

As we are using wordpress and WP provide us thousand of cashing plugins which help us to to cache our page, images as well as videos. Yeah! Hosting meter a lot in site speed. If your host have good features like ram, processors etc then it will give you good response. always try to go for good and famous hosting providers like iPage, Blue Host etc.

4: Use image of Least size :

50% of website loading time depends on images and other media. First i suggest you, try to use as less as possible images in your article. But keep in mind now google also take images as a ranking or quality factor so at least one. you can use more the one image in an article but keep in mind their size must be less then 100kb. You may use image compressing plugins as well as software for this purpose. For best result i refer you to use Drop Box for image uploading.
