Son of former Punjab governor Shahbaz Taseer has been recovered from Baluchistan after 5 year of captivity.

News! Former Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer’s abducted son Shahbaz Taseer is recovered today from Kuchlak area of Baluchistan. Keep in mind that the son of former Punjab governor abducted by unidentified persons from the Gulberg area of Lahore in August, 2011 when he was going for office. Aitzaz Goraya, head of the Counter-Terrorism Department of Baluchistan province told AFP: “Yes, we have recovered him” :).

According to ISPR, Secret Agencies and FC raided a house in Kuchlak (outskirt area of Quetta) and rescued the Salman Taseer’s son Shahbaz Taseer. Shahbaz left his house from Cavalry Ground in his silver Mercedes Kompressor (LZT-1) for his office around 10:15am. His car was intercepted by a black SUV and motorbike around 600 yards from the office and up to three men dragged Taseer out of the car and took him away. Shahbaz Taseer has be rescued after 5 years of captivity: Big Achievement

No place of happiness when the authorities call Shahbaz Family abut his recovery :). Whereas Security sources are yet to confirm the arrest of kidnappers during the recovery operation. According to reports, Taseer’s kidnappers dropped him near Al-Saleem Hotel, Kuchlak, where he contacted his mother through a phone provided to him by the hotel owner. His mother then informed about his whereabouts to the intelligence agencies.

Taseer had dinner at this very hotel and paid a bill of Rs 350. According to the hotel owner, Taseer came to the hotel alone and asked him for a phone after having his meal and paying the bill. The intelligence agencies officials approached the hotel shortly after the call was made and Taseer left the place with them. Bellow is the latest picture of Shahbaz Taseer.

Shahbaz Taseer recovery is really a big achievement by our militant organizations. The militant commanders have privately told AFP in the past Taseer was being kept somewhere in the tribal areas of North and South Waziristan, but he was moved after Operation Zarab Azab was launched in North Waziristan in 2014.
