In this tutorial i will tell you, how you can run and open more then 2 skype accounts at once (at the same time).

Use Multiple Skype accounts at same time on Windows XP, 7, 8 and Vista

First let me tell you, if you want to run multiple Skype accounts then you need to start new instance skype for each account. And there are 3 ways to run Skype Separately.

Method 1 :

You can Start new Instance of skype by clicking on its icon (on desktop). Keep in mind it didn’t support more then two instances. But it is traditional method and you can face problem while using this method i.e your skype may be crashed. you might interested to Check How Many Sim’s are registered on your CNIC.

Method 2: use multiple skype accounts at once

1. First open the RUN window. You can go with Start button or can press Win+r.
2. Now use the following command as it it in run window.
   For 32 Bit Windows, “C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe” /secondary
   For 64 Bit Windows, “C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe” /secondary
   Use command as it is (including the quotes).

3. Don’t forget to change the path if you install skype in other location instead of default location.

Method 3 :

This method is kinda complicated then others.

1. First you need to Find the Skype.exe file.
   For 32 bit Windows, C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\
   For 64 bit windows, C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\
2. Now Right click on the skype.exe file and send it to Desktop as show in picture bellow:

3. Now go to our desktop, right click on the skype.exe file and select properties.
4. In the Target field of the Shortcut tab, add /secondary to the end of the path. Finally it look like this, “C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe” /secondary.
5. Click on Okay, Now when ever you double click on this skype shortcut icon, it will start a new instance for you :) .
