First Ebola Patient of Pakistan Die in Faisalabad – Pakistan’s first suspected case of Ebola passes away in Faisalabad

It is really a very horrible news that Ebola virus cases suspected in Pakistan and First Ebola Patient of Pakistan Die in Faisalabad today, 25th of November at the Allied Hospital of the city. His name is Zulafqar Ahmad and he is the citizen of Chiniot. According to sources A man in Chiniot was rushed to a local hospital Allied Hospital Faisalabad in critical condition and has been kept under isolation.

Doctors fearing as he may have contracted the deadly Ebola virus. On the other hand National Health organization said to media and news that “they did not verify it yet whether his death caused by Ebola or Dengue Virus. His blood samples have been sent to WHO (World Health Organization) for tests“.

According to Media He just returned to Pakistan from Togo (A Country in west Africa). He was ill and admitted in the local DHQ Hospital in Chiniot. Medical Superintendent (MS) Allied Hospital Dr Rashid Maqbool Said “He is a chronic patient of various diseases, and was previously admitted in a hospital in Togo for more than 20 days”. He added He is in a critical condition and is being provided with maximum facilities available at the hospital. His blood and other samples have been taken which have been sent to the National Health Laboratory in Islamabad to ascertain the possibility of the Ebola virus attack. As he is considering as First Ebola Patient Of Pakistan. Hospital Officials said that “We cannot say anything more till the blood report comes, and that can take up to ten days, Whether it is a Ebola Virus or Dengue”.
