WordPress banned in Pakistan (temporary) due to security issues – PTA Reported that ban might be lifted in next two days
OMG! you are not going to read this :( . If you are a blogger and belongs to Pakistan then i damn sure it gonna hurts you. According to PTA Officials, WordPress banned in Pakistan due to security reasons and the ban might be lifted in next two days. I myself try to open some wordpress.com hosted blogs and i am socked to see it show me same blocking error as it was mention on youtube.
According to pro blogger Pakistan news sources, “WordPress.com has been blocked due to security reasons with reference to the Pakistan Day“. The exact nature of “threat” on WordPress.com that triggered the blocking is unreported.
If you have self-hosted website or blog powered by wordpress then you no need to take worry because this blocking is just for wordpress.com hosted blogs not for self-hosted websites. you may also like to read How to install WordPress on xampp windows 7, 8.

OMG! WordPress banned in Pakistan :( :
WordPress.com (RIP)! News just have been confirmed by an anonymous source within PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority). WordPress.com hosted millions of blogs across the world and has a huge users base in Pakistan. It is really very sad news for Pakistan bloggers. Let’s see what the hell going on with PTA.
On the other hand Youtube is still banned in Pakistan, Million of students are still not able to access youtube directly without any proxy. You may interested to read Youtube will open on 25 Feb in Pakistan (PTA Official). Besides of passed revolution YouTube is still banned.
