Shahid Afridi to retire from ODIs after 2015 World Cup

Cricket Star, all-rounder and former Pakistani captain, Shahid Khan Afridi decided to retire from ODIs after 2015 world cup. He has decided to quit cricket after his sheer disappointment with the leadership of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Afridi was earlier reported to be dejected over PCB’s decision to sack him as captain.

He said that after 2015 world cup my fan did not watch me in ODIs. In an interview he added that many team members did not like me as Captain. It is my pleasure to play 2015 world cup. He said that he didn’t want to be a burden for the ODI team and is planning to focus on the T20 format of the game only.

Just after announcement of his retirement from ODIs he added that “sometimes he think to take part in Politics but he was refrain by his elders”. Shahid Afridi said that i am thinking to make academy for beginners and will train them. In a twitter update he said “My journey has seen many ups and downs but I am feeling satisfied that I am leaving on my own terms”. My 18 yrs dream dedicated to Pakistan. First ever player(respect) to have such hard decision but will paved way for many new talents!.
