Punjab University M Phil and PhD admissions date has been announced

If you are willing to get admission in PU (Punjab University) for M Phil or PhD prgrams then it is a golden chance for you. Recently PUCIT (Punjab University Old Campus) announced Punjab University M Phil and PhD admission entry test date. According to PU press release, Entry test application forms for M Phil and PhD programs will be available from Monday 25th July, 2016 and the last date of submission of application form is 10th August, 2016. • Come to PUCIT Old Campus from (8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
• Get a fee voucher (Rs. 500) from the admission office.
• Submit the fee in HBL Punjab University Old Campus branch as mentioned on your fee voucher.
• Show the fee voucher slip in Admission office and get your Pre-admission entry test form.
• Fill your entry test form, attach copy of CNIC, fee voucher slip and submit it in PUCIT admission office.

Entry Test Schedule for BS, MSc, M Phil and PhD:

• Entry Test for BS programs (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) will be held on Sunday 24 July, 2016.
• Entry Test for MSc/CS will be held on Saturday 23 July, 2016.
• Entry Test for M Phil/PhD programs will be held on 24th August, 2016. Interviews will be conducted on 7th September, 2016.

Entry Test Guidelines for Admission:

1. According to the PU Admission Committee decision, there are no passing marks in Entry Test. 30% of the obtained marks will be added in the admission formula as given in the admission criteria.
2. Candidate MUST bring entry test slip and original CNIC with them in the Test Centre. In case the candidate does not have his/her CNIC, he/she is required to bring his/her original secondary school certificate, Original Passport or Driving license to enter the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Test Centre without these documents.
3. B-Form or College/School ID card are not acceptable.
4. Hand bags, mobile phones, calculators etc. are NOT ALLOWED in the Examination Centre.
