Philipp Lahm announced his retirement from football after won FIFA world cup 2014

World Cup 2014 winning team captain Philipp Lahm announced his retirement from football in international sports.The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed the retirement of Philipp Lahm.

Philipp said in a written letter to the DFB, that I had already decided to announced retire after the World Cup, and in regards to take this decisions i informed to the team’s coach Jucm.

He said that I am very happy that I ended my career by won the title of football World Cup Champion of Germany.Did you know how Netherlands won against Germany if not! then read this Netherlands defeated Brazil for third place in World Cup.

DFB president Wolfgang Nair sbakh says Philip Lam phoned me this morning and informed me about his personal decisions.
Philip not only was the best player of Germany’s team for the last 10 years but also he was a role model for young players.He gave Philipp Lahm thanked for his services to the DFB.
