World Most profitable Company Apple’s CEO Tim Cook Decide to Donate all money in Charity

According to show biz fortune, World largest and most profitable company (absolutely it is Apple), Apple CEO Tim Cook Decide to donate all Money to charity Firms before his death. Tim Cook joins a growing number of the world’s super-rich who are giving away their wealth, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. According to Fortune Magazine, he holds $120m (£81m) worth of Apple shares and a further $665m (£447m) of restricted stocks.

He told Fortune he has started donating money to unspecified causes quietly and is trying to develop a more ‘systematic approach’ to philanthropy that goes beyond writing checks. Just because the Apple CEO wants to donate money doesn’t meant that Apple shareholders want to. Starting a manufacturing unit in Africa would presumably be less profitable.

Cook’s job as CEO is to increase shareholder value, so he would have to convince the shareholders that it’s worth doing so even if it reduces earnings (impacting share price). (Bear in mind that the majority of shareholders are other major companies, not individuals, and many may not be American.). On the other hand, Cook can give away his money without consulting with anyone else. you may also interested to read 10 Richest Actor in World Shahrukh Khan 2nd Position.

What i think :

I don’t understand the whole US donating thing. First they outsource manufacturing that could also be done in the US. that ways the make profits and make people at home jobless. And then with those profits the donate money. Why can’t apple manufacture everything in their home country? Saving tax(a lot of it) is making your govt poorer and then they are donating money. What is all this for?

They want to do something for Africa? Apple being such a huge huge corporation. Can’t it start a manufacturing unit in Africa?

I see many people criticizing Tim for TALKING about charity. I don’t think there’s anything wrong about it. If u r doing something why can’t u talk about it? Why does it matter to people commenting on it?

I think if every US company starts manufacturing in the US, the country as a whole will be wealthier but the companies won’t make enormous profits to boast about.

Now What you think?
