Make a Poster Using MS Word.

  1. First, go to the little tabs on the top left, Then go to “Format” then go to border and shading.>>click on that, then select page border, and select the box setting. Next choose whatever line style and color, and thickness you want the border to be and then hit the OK button.
    it is the template style of your Poster.You can make as you required.(See Figure)

  2. Now click on the view tab on the upper left corner. Click on toolbars and drawing. A dialogue box come up on the bottom of your screen.You can also give an Title on Poster use Word ART.
  3. Now Click on Insert Button and select Text box.It will create a text box for you where you can enter your poster contents.You can choose any color as well as external picture to make poster attractive.also give border and styling to this text box.

wow You are done.

Make Poster Using Power Point

  1. Start PowerPoint>> Make a New presentation>> a blank one.When asked for a Layout, choose a blank one >>one without anything even a title.
  2. Choose the size of your poster: I recommend that you select a poster approximately 48-60″ wide (across) and exactly 36″ in height (top to bottom). It is upon your requirement what you or your Customer wants.
  3. Now Adding text: In order to add text, the text needs a “container” – a Text Box. Make a text box by Click on the Text Box tool or selecting Text Box under the Insert menu.
  4. Add image by inserting from inserting menu from menu bar.Choose Background as you want.
  5. Lines, Boxes, Arrows: There are many other things that PowerPoint can do. Next to the Text Box tool are tools to make ovals, boxes, lines, arrows, etc. When you have made one of these, you can change it (when it is selected) with the Format menu/Colors and Lines.
  6. Zoom: You can control the zoom amount by clicking on the zoom choice box (if visible), or using the View menu/Zoom.

It is done.Now Printout your Poster.
